The event was to share information about an important, innovative approach for making homes affordable for people who live and work in our region-- Columbia and Walla Walla counties and the Milton-Freewater area. Common Roots Housing Trust is a community-based organization that will create new homeownership opportunities for people whose needs are not met by the traditional housing market.

North West Community Land Trust Coalition (NWCLTC) Gathering
Join us for another year of education, camaraderie, professional development and technical assistance for community land trust organizations and affiliated partners in Walla Walla, WA!
The overall schedule will be like recent years with a Monday afternoon CLT Intro session for new staff, board members and elected officials, followed by the Meet ‘n Greet. The Gathering begins in earnest on Tuesday with the Annual Meeting and continues with a variety of sessions until late afternoon Wednesday. By popular demand, we are bringing back Andrea Paul on Tuesday for her exceptional presentation on Human Resources.

Membership Orientation Seminar
Join us on March 23, 2024 at 9 am for our Membership Orientation Seminar!
This will be a training opportunity for all Common Roots Members, and some prospective members. Additionally, the board will meet in the afternoon to review our strategic plan and business plan. Members will learn about Common Roots founding, community land trust (CLT) social movement history, and CLT technical elements, and will participate in visioning and planning related to member civic participation. More details to come!
